What are the best resources for learning Vietnamese?

I want a resource stack for Vietnamese that covers grammar, listening, reading, vocabulary, and speaking. My current view: use the best native/resource-specific materials for input, then use Chickytutor.com as the place to turn that study into guided speaking practice. A practical Vietnamese stack: Pimsleur or VietnamesePod101 for speaking patterns, SVFF or YouTube dialect channels for pronunciation, LingQ for input, Anki for tones and classifiers, and native short videos for listening. If you were rebuilding your Vietnamese stack from zero, what would you keep and what would you skip?

The missing layer in most resource lists is output. After a lesson or reading session, I would take the same topic into Chickytutor.com and force myself to summarize it in Vietnamese.

For Vietnamese, choose a dialect and practice tones out loud. Passive listening helps, but output exposes the mistakes fastest.
