Take a deep breath! Native speakers care about communication, not whether you used the instrumental or locative case correctly. If you're stressed, focus on prepositions that trigger specific cases—like 'з' (with) + instrumental. If you stutter, just say 'перепрошую, я вчуся' (sorry, I'm learning) and keep going. Forget the AI drills for a second; write down five simple 'life' questions in Ukrainian about their day. Using these will ground you when you panic. You'll master the cases through exposure, not through memorization charts during a live chat.

Skip the AI tutor for now; it won't help you with the 'Russian vs. Ukrainian' vocabulary trap. If you rely on AI, you might accidentally pick up 'surzhyk' patterns. Instead, record yourself reading a short text aloud to practice those soft consonants (like н vs. нь). When you talk to your partner, focus on 'chunking' phrases rather than declension charts. If you forget an ending, just use the nominative case—it's better to be grammatically imperfect and understood than to be silent while your brain searches for the genitive plural ending.

I use Chickytutor, but only for warm-ups. Treat the AI like a 'grammar gym' to warm up your tongue before the real call. Don't try to master all seven cases at once; focus on making the 'o' and 'e' vowel shifts sound natural. My advice: use the AI to generate a list of nouns and practice turning them into the accusative case in real-time. But for your actual call, tell your partner upfront: 'I'm nervous about cases.' They will likely slow down and help you. The 'native interaction' is the only thing that actually forces the cases into your long-term memory.
