I’ve tested a few AI tools, and frankly, they struggle with Latvian’s palatalization and the nuances of the genitive case when the noun is negated. If you want to build a real workflow, skip the apps. Use LangCorrect. It’s a community-based platform where native speakers actually correct your writing. The trick is to post 3-4 sentences about your day and specifically ask people to check if your case endings match the prepositions. You’ll get real feedback on why 'uz galda' is correct but 'pie galda' changes the context, which apps usually miss entirely.

Most automated tools fall flat on Latvian because they don't grasp the 'locative' case usage versus actual prepositional phrases. My advice: stop trying to generate hundreds of sentences. Instead, use an Anki deck with cloze deletions focused strictly on declension patterns (e.g., -s vs -is nouns). Once a week, take your drill sentences to a site like iTalki or use a cheap tutor on Preply for a 30-minute 'correction session.' Have them review only your output. It’s better to have 10 sentences polished by a pro than 100 sentences checked by an AI that misses your terminal glottal nuances.

If you insist on an AI-driven loop, don't use 'gamified' sites. Use Claude 3.5 Sonnet or GPT-4o with a specific system prompt. Feed it a copy of the 'Mūsdienu latviešu valodas gramatika' and tell it: 'Act as a linguist. Correct my Latvian sentences, but prioritize explaining the case declension error based on standard noun endings.' The key is to force the AI to explain the rule, not just provide the correction. If it can't explain the vowel shift in a 2nd declension noun, the correction is probably hallucinated. Always cross-reference with tezaurs.lv.
