You’re hitting the classic 'suffix blur' wall. The problem is that Hungarian is agglutinative, but native speakers use vowel harmony to swallow consonants, making boundaries vanish. Stop trying to parse full sentences and start doing 'shadowing' with shorter clips. Find a 30-second scene from a show like 'Aranyélet', play it, and repeat it exactly, mimicking the speed and pitch. Don't look at the text. If you can't mimic the cadence, you aren't hearing the suffixes because your brain hasn't internalized the rhythm of the case endings yet. Focus on the melody, not the grammar.

I went through the same thing last year. The issue is that we learn Hungarian by building blocks (word + case), but natives speak in 'breath groups'. My breakthrough was stop-motion listening: use a tool like 'Language Reactor' to play one sentence, then repeat it back without audio. If you can't say it at native speed, your brain won't recognize it when you hear it. Also, stop watching movies for now—switch to 'Gyerünk, Anyukám!' or other vlogs where the vocabulary is more colloquial and the speaker is looking at the camera. Movies have too much background noise and dramatic delivery that hides the V2 word order.

Ditch the movies, they’re actually pretty terrible for beginners because of the colloquial shortcuts. Natives don't say 'azt akarom mondani' in a casual setting; it’s all compressed. Try listening to the 'Let’s Speak Hungarian' podcast or similar intermediate audio where they maintain clear articulation. Once you can follow those at 1.25x speed, go back to the films. Also, look specifically for vowel harmony drills. If you aren't instinctively predicting the suffix based on the stem's vowels, you'll always feel like you're playing catch-up. Your brain needs to treat the suffix as part of the word, not as a separate unit you're trying to decode.
